  • What is EAGLE?

EAGLE is the name of a study trip headed to Estonia and Latvia, organized by the study association Thor of Electrical Engineering and Automotive at Eindhoven, University of Technology.

 

  • What does EAGLE mean?

EAGLE is an acronym for Exploring All Greatness of Latvia & Estonia. This reflects the purpose of the trip, which is to explore the technological and cultural aspects of the two countries with a group of students from Eindhoven.

 

  • What is Thor?

The e.t.s.v. Thor is the study association of the department of Electrical Engineering at Eindhoven, University of Technology. Thor was founded in 1957, in the same year as the university itself. Thor organizes activities that bring students in direct contact with the engineering industry. In this capacity, Thor regularly organizes study tours to give the students an insight into the international electrical engineering and automotive industry.

 

  • When will this study trip take place?

The EAGLE study trip will take place in July of 2019. We will depart on the 9th, and return in Eindhoven the 16th.

 

  • Who will participate in the study trip?

The study trip is meant for bachelor and master students of Electrical Engineering or Automotive that are member of study association Thor.

 

  • How can my company be part of the EAGLE study trip?

You can support us by becoming a sponsor. Also, we are looking for companies that will receive us on a technical excursion in Estonia or Latvia. For more information about sponsor options, please contact us.
